Classic, Romantic, Vineyard Wedding at Nikola Estate

Swan Valley Wedding Open Day, July 2024

 I had the pleasure of styling the wedding reception for Nikola Estate’s Old Cellars for the Swan Valley Wedding Open Day on Sunday 4 July 2024. The Old Cellers is one of my favourite function spaces at this Swan Valley wedding and event venue.

Inspired by the brick walls, large wooden barrels and chandeliers, I conceptualised the sophisticated and timeless design to accentuate, soften and elevate the country-style, cellar.

Styling incorporated custom napkins with a repeating white rose illustration on a golden-mustard linen, luxurious tablecloths from The Tailored Table, furniture from The Original Event Company, quality event candles from Caduree Candles, exquisite fine china, gold-accented and crystal tableware from Meadows of Longton and floral arrangements by florist Maple and Wren. The earth-green menus designed and printed by Butterfly Days, featured white text and a custom illustration of Nikola Estate’s gorgeous Chapel. They were printed on heavy, textured card and complimented and contrasted perfectly with the napkins.

Chandeliers framed the seating for the wedding couple on the head table, feature lighting in the design which anchored the head table and enhanced the space’s permanent chandeliers.

Warmth and movement were created by the flicker of the over 82 candles.
